Okay, you know when you find a dress that’s so cute, the fit, the length, everything and you’re like, “Yep, this is the one”?

Then you turn around… open back. Or the neckline is so low, you already know you’ll be adjusting it all night.

And when you look for a little more coverage, suddenly everything feels too serious, too old-fashioned, or just not you.

That’s honestly why we created Moderie. Dresses that still feel feminine, flattering, romantic, and a little flirty, without making you feel exposed.

Because you should be able to feel attractive and comfortable on your terms.

The House

Why does finding the right dress have to be so hard?

Based in Houston, Texas, Hans is a husband and a dad to two wild kids. He grew up in Lebanon around clothing. Manufacturing, retail, all of it. He spent eight years working in agency marketing, but he always wanted to build a clothing brand of his own. Eventually, Hans decided to stop talking about it and actually do it. The idea came from watching his wife shop for dresses. She would find one she loved, but there was always something. She just wanted something beautiful without giving up what made her feel comfortable. Hans kept thinking, why does this have to be so hard? That question became MODERIE.

To us, freedom means staying true to what you believe and still feeling attractive, confident, noticed, and important. You shouldn’t have to give up your principles to feel beautiful. You should get to have both.

That’s what we want Moderie to stand for. The freedom to be yourself, set your own terms, and feel like you don’t have to give up part of yourself to have it all.

And we want that mission to go beyond clothing. For every item sold, we donate $0.50 to support displaced families in the Middle East. Because everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued.
